A SUPERCAR YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD ABOUT!
The 1989 Cizeta Moroder V16 T was built in Modena, Italy, under the knowledge of the public. It was a beautiful and complex piece of machinery created by Claudio Zampolli and Giorgio Moroder. Zampolli was a genius mechanic working for Lamborghini until he wanted to start his own company. After having moved to the states, Zampolli created Automobili Cizeta. On the other hand, Moroder was an Italian music producer and composer given the nickname the “Father of Disco.”
Their creation was one of the coolest and sleek in design, while staying exceptional in both performance and luxury. It wowed all car enthusiasts with its v16 engine and high speed range of over 200 miles per hour. It only came in a few colors, but the most iconic color was red. The color was accompanied by an identical red to match or a smooth dark black. They both were made of a luxurious leather interior with a 5 speed manual. Top speed was maxed at 205 miles per hour for safety reasons unknown to the public. Although the newer models were tweaked in the moving years to keep up with the competition.
“ With a capacity of 5995cc, the claimed power output of that amazing V16 engine was 560bhp at a dizzying 8000rpm, although the power-plant's red-line was set at an astonishing 9000rpm. At full chat the noise was awe-inspiring, with two overhead camshafts per bank spinning away, and 64 valves doing their stuff. There were two Bosch K-Jetronic V8 fuel injection systems fitted to the engine which was no less than five feet wide, which is why there was no alternative to taking the drive from its middle. The power-plant was effectively a pair of V8s mated to each other (complete with two crankshafts), with the power taken from the middle via a T-shaped transmission. This
offered five manually selected gears, which then transmitted the power to the rear wheels.
With so much power and torque available, it was no surprise that Cizeta claimed some pretty amazing performance figures. The company said its V16T was capable of 204mph as well as 0-60mph in just 4.4 seconds. But nobody ever officially tested the car, so whether or not it was really capable of such feats will forever remain open to conjecture.”
These two individuals created a spark that ignited all creative juices in everyone who loved cars. They now have a want to achieve their dreams as these two did. Zampolli and Moroder came from such different professions but together created something special. Limiting their availability to the public, they choose to create only 10 cars of that year to make them extremely rare. This is truly a one of a kind beast of a car anyone would dream to have. The modifications are designed to be endless!!!
